Welcome to an exciting new venture! We are compiling
a historical collection of Potters sports events from
the very beginning, and this section will serve as
a way of displaying our ongoing pride in Potters sports
history.

I was approached about what historical records might
have been kept, and I was overwhelmed with what was
found. So I have decided to work with the East Liverpool
Historical Society, as well as other volunteers, to
begin the process of compiling as many ELHS sports
records as can be found. As one can imagine, it will
take a great deal of time and effort to accumulate
complete and accurate records. This process will be
started with information taken from ELHS yearbooks
and will be supplemented with microfilm to get an
idea of what we have so far. It is our hope to find
stats and information for the top players in every
sport, at the very least.
If you are a former coach who might happen to have
scorebooks, records or other information about our
athletes, please contact me by email at jim@pottersportsonline.com
and let me know what you have. I would be more than
happy to look at those books, and I hope to begin
a file for each sport that contains record books and
other statistical information.
To be listed as a record holder, there must be some
way of proving your claim to that record. This will
be done to ensure our records are accurate.
